This is the cutest little home decor store. It located in a big old house in Old Town Greenwood. They've filled all the rooms with lovely displays of seasonal decor. It's so fun to go throughout the year and see how their displays change and all the new decor they get in. They also always have a large display of candles, fun kitchen towels, and some old-fashioned candy by the register. The store also has two cats and a little dog hanging out sometimes, which makes my animal lover heart happy. I like shopping for home decor here because of the variety, the style of decor, and the quality of the decor. You can tell a lot of their decor is using real wood, metal, or thicker glass. It seems higher quality to me than some other home decor stores of similar prices. Love shopping here! If you don't live nearby, you could also check out the home decor at The Flower Market across the street, shop for some secondhand clothes at Abby’s Closet, or have dinner at Vino Villa, La Trattoria Italian Restaurant, or lunch at Sassafras Lunch & Tea Room. This is such a lovely store in a lovely area of Greenwood! Check it out!

Absolutely my #1 favorite go to place for home decor!! Love the fact it’s a mom and pop shop. They stay very current with what’s trending, but also have traditional, timeless classic Items that you will love and enjoy for decades. High quality without exorbitant prices! Please, do yourself a favor and make sure to visit this shop. I guarantee you will have a pleasant experience, and you’ll definitely want to come back again!! Awesome!

What a find my wife and I discovered today...Our first ever visit to the Take Root Country Store. This store is beautifully laid out with so many wonderful displays of various items; seasonal items, antiques, hand-crafted items, new items, and one of a kind gift ware. Primitive items and candles were a plenty. They have a sweet pup and the chattiest kitty in the shop. They love to be doted on. Clever kitty was trying to get my husband to follow her to fill her food bowl. The owners were up for a quick chat and we found the whole shopping experience to be worth the trip to see. We will be visiting them again! Thank you for a warm and cozy experience on such a chilly day. The Kidds 2/17/24.

This place is a gem! The owners are truly wonderful people and very knowledgeable about the merchandise and products they sell. Jackie is always there to make suggests and assist you with gift options, home decor, lotions, candies and more. If you haven't been to Take Root Country Store, stop by, check out out. You won't be disappointed. Then head over to Vino Villa for dinner or a glass of wine. Great outdoor patio, best in Greenwood. If you are shopping early, check out Café Euclid! Great food and coffee selections. It's a great area of Old Towne Greenwood. It's delightful.

This shop is a wonderful part of Old Town Greenwood! The owners are great folks and they've done a wonderful job transforming an old home into a great country store. They've also put on some huge and successful events multiple times a year that have drawn more and more people into the area. I highly recommend checking their store (and events throughout the year) out!

This store is a jewel in the heart of Greenwood. They not only have beautiful merchandise but they have it displayed beautifully. Every time you go in you are greeted and treated as friends. It feels good to shop local.

This shop is wonderful with a chill atmosphere. Their cat & dog are very well behaved & clerk was helpful in answering all of my questions. I took home a wrapped canvas with lights inside, featuring a black kitten. Finding a place with out-of-season Halloween stuff is a dream come true. This is the place to find gnomes of all sorts. 🧙‍♂️

The craft teacher was awesome! Had so much fun at the make and take class! This little gem is BETTER than a trip to Brown County! No long drive or wasted gas money... all the same great country products right at home in Historic Downtown Greenwood! New products ALL year long! And - there's a Franklin store now! 💗💗
